My daughter, 34", still can't ride with the pedals, but she can reach the floor and uses it that way.

the seat is adjustable. I was not sure my grandaughter at 2 would fit but she did just fine. You can also get blocks for the peddles at about any store that sells bikes which makes her legs (if she is really short) fit to the peddles till she grows but is adjusts to a pretty short range already.

My 2 yr old daughter is 33" and she reaches the pedals...now, when pedaling she has to really point her foot when the pedal is at the furtherest point away from her, so she doesn't get a good grip on it to push it back down. It's manageable, though, and it won't be long before it's just right...

Don't know if you purchased yet, but the trike has an adjustable seat.

Buy it!! my 2 year old daughter is a little small as well. Didn't matter she just uses her feet on the ground thanks to the low seat height.

We put blocks on my daughters first trike so she could reach the pedals. On the Schwin The seat is as close to the pedals as it can go and she reaches fine she is 33.5 inches tall. Hope this helps.

My granddaughter is 21 months old and she cannot reach the pedals.

If you put the seat in the very 1st hole she should be fine.If that doesn't work add a couple of wooded blocks to the pedals.
